Surface piercing propellers are a kind of supercavitation propellers that work well on the surface of the air. These propellers have better performance at high speeds than other propulsion systems (conventional propellers and waterjets), but because of the asymmetry of forces and subsequent vibrations and extreme fluctuations, they require special design and construction requirements. At present, the conventional propulsion system is supercaviting propellers and waterjets, surface piercing propellers (S.P.P) are more capable of being used on high speed vessels. A large number of marine patrol agencies in the world use ultra-high-speed vessels with Surface piercing propellers capable of reaching speeds above 60 Nats, but at present, the most important challenges for these propellers are the lack of information due to their exclusivity in the eyes of manufacturers
In the foregoing work, firstly, the performance coefficients of the propeller were obtained by the method of sliding mesh and compared with the experimental data, which is shown to be good matching, then the free surface pressure increased in very low advance coefficients (0.16 and 0.32). It can be seen that the optimal pressure for these two coefficients is 100 (Pa) and at this pressure, the thrust force has increased by 2.5 and 3.58 percent in both advance coefficients of 0.16 and 0.32, respectively, and after finding the optimal pressure of 100 (Pa) , This pressure is applied to the propeller in the advance coefficients of 0.4 and 0.8, respectively, and the percentage increase in thrust is 3.2 and 2.6, respectively, and lastly due to severe fluctuations In thrust force and torque, the surface tension is reduced once to 0.05 N/m, and again increases to 0.098 N/m, which It can be seen that with decreasing surface tension, the torque and torque fluctuations are reduced, and the average Trust has increased by about 7%.
