The process of privatization in the Iranian Ministry of Oil has started under Article 44 of the Constitution over the past few years and is being pursued with earnestness. In this regard, the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC), which manages the fuel stations and distribution of oil products inside the country, emphasizes the minister of oil and the policy of preserving its sovereignty, seeking to strengthen the private sector through the assignment of its main duty. The design of a chain of distribution companies for liquid petroleum products and CNG, or the fuel station branding scheme, is the new approach of the NIOPDC in developing fuel supply stations for oil products. By covering or constructing a set of fuel supply stations, these companies will buy and take delivery of products from the warehouse and fuel depots from the main NIOPDC warehouses and timely distribution of them in covered areas and their mission is sustainable and continuous supply of the products to the final consumer with standard quality and quantity. Assessing the performance of supply chain companies is the final stage in implementing the NIOPDC's decision to measure the success of the project.
The present study seeks to provide a framework for ranking and evaluating the performance of Iranian distributor petroleum products companies with the DEMATEL-ANP & Fuzzy Vikor compilation model. For this purpose, seven companies that duration of their activities are close to each other and are more active, among the companies that supply Iranian oil products were considered. In this research, after determining the desired indicators for performance evaluation through surveys and structured interviews of experts, the weighting of indicators was performed using the DEMATEL-ANP method and related data from these indicators were obtained from NIOPDC experts. Finally, companies with Fuzzy Vikor technique were evaluated and ranked.
According to the results, companies whose performance has been better per indicators with higher weights, were ranked in the top of the list. Due to the Fuzzy Vikor technique, which allows you to check more about the right choice for the top company, the company that was topped the list was chosen as the best with full confidence.
