Abstract
In this research, the effect of ductility capacity on seismic behavior of isolated steel frames (with lead rubber bearing) and fixed base has been evaluated by ASCE / SEI 7-16. In this order, 12 three-floor and nine- floor models isolated with ordinary , medium and special ductility, and 12 three-story models and with a typical, medium and special ductility were evaluated that each of the separators has been tested nine times under different tests of separators. Also, to study the effect of joints, the RBS and WUF-F coupling were modeled from the Krawinkler’s connection source and with time history analysis, twenty 475 year-old earthquake record and twenty 2475 year-old earthquake record, with a total of 48 analyzes of the history of time were studied with the OPENSEES software.
Different results of this research were studied, structural behavior with different ductility and different and isolated connections have been evaluated. Some outcomes of this research are the basic cutting and relative displacement and the overall acceleration and displacement and the remaining displacement in the isolated and fixed base.
