Abstract
As cities grow, attention to desirable urban designs will be essential. Today's cities, with increasing population and technology growth, are faced with complexities and challenges that require a well-organized way of dealing with current local and global conditions. Nowadays, the importance of the issue of culture in the design, redesign and development of urban spaces has become a fundamental concept that has a significant impact on other parts of development. In this study, considering the vitality and centralization of the issue of culture, especially considering the issues related to culture and citizenship, in pursuit of a framework for designing a station to promote citizenship culture based on internal studies and in accordance with the conditions of Iranian society, Has been edited. The present research consists of two theoretical and practical sections that have been done by descriptive-analytical method. In the theoretical section by studying articles and books and related sites to collect information on research related issues such as culture, citizen, gender, technology and etc been paid. Then, using field observations, recording of images and behaviors at different times of day, interviewing the citizens present at the site, designing the questionnaire, the existing conditions were investigated. In the questionnaire section was prepared state of the five-point Likert questionnaire, a number of items were provided for the three components that would be considered by two experts in urban furniture to determine the validity of the questionnaire, also In order to reach the reliability of this questionnaire, the answers of 35 respondents were analyzed in “SPSS” software, Cronbach's alpha for each component and the whole questionnaire obtained above 0.7. The questionnaire was surveyed using Cochran formula from 306 citizens using simple random sampling.
After field research and library research, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of this pedestrian path were analyzed and it was found that the situation under study was very poor in terms of security. Increased security, informational and cultural signs, shelter and accommodation have been among the priorities and needs of citizens in this area. It was also, found that conventional advertising such as banners, posters, etc. had little effect on culture building and culture promotion; while the use of new technologies such as the Internet, digital spaces and virtual networks, etc. had a greater impact on citizens (especially women), to the extent that it has influenced people's lifestyles. Also, in this study, important factors and tools in influencing and consolidating the status of cultural advertising as well as general citizenship norms along with their associated characteristics and criteria have been identified and presented. In the design section, using user-centered, double diamond methodologies, and the information obtained from theoretical and practical steps, taking into account design principles such as ergonomics, aesthetics, materials and methods of construction and etc, ideas were designed that were repeated and evaluated by the expert after several steps, the final design was created with a combination of urban furniture. Finally, based on the studies and what has been achieved in the research process, it can be acknowledged that social, historical, geographical, political issues such as gender, the presence of citizens, effective and influential organizations, cultural propaganda and how they are presented, Historical background, climatic conditions, good governance in government, technologies etc, they have been effective in expanding and educating citizenship culture topics and should be taken into consideration in any urban design.
