محافظت پوست يكي از بزرگ‌ترين اعضا بدن و اولين سد دفاعي مي‌باشد كه بدن را در مقابل عوامل خارجي مي‌كند. بنابراين داشتن پوست سالم براي حفظ ظاهري مطلوب و عملكرد حفاظتي آن، بسيار حائز اهميت است. لوازم آرايشي و بهداشتي كه توسط بسياري از خانم‌ها به صورت مداوم مورد استفاده قرار مي‌گيرد در واقع براي افزايش سلامتي بايد به كار برده شوند، ولي متاسفانه اين محصولات در طولاني مدت تاثير مخرب خواهند داشت. تاثيرات مخرب اين محصولات پس از گذشت چندين سال باعث تغيير ظاهري پوست مي¬شود. بنابراين گمان مي‌رود در طي اين مدت تغييراتي در خواص بيومكانيكي بافت نيز رخ داده است. جهت دستيابي به اين مسئله كه چه تغييراتي در خواص بيومكانيكي بافت رخ داده است، نيمي از پوست كمر تعدادي موش به مدت دو ماه، به كرم پودر آرايشي آغشته شد و نيمه‌ي ديگر پوست هر نمونه نيز به عنوان مرجع همان نمونه قرار داده شد. بعد از گذشت زمان مذكور نمونه‌ها جداسازي و تحت تست كشش تك‌محور قرار گرفتند. منحني تنش-كرنش هر نمونه رسم و با نمونه مرجع خود مقايسه شد. مشاهده شد كه در هر نمونه با مصرف كرم ميزان مدول الاسيتسيته و تنش تسليم و ماكسيمم نسبت به نمونه مرجع كاهش، و ميزان كرنش تسليم و ماكسيمم افزايش يافته است. اين موضوع بيانگر اين است كه بافت استحكام و انعطاف پذيري اوليه خود را از دست داده و اصطلاحاً پوست چروك و افتاده شده است. در نتايج اين تحقيق ميزان تغييرات پارامترهاي فوق كه نشانگر ميزان تخريب پوست در طول دو ماه استفاده‌ي مداوم از كرم آرايشي مي‌باشد، ارائه شده است.

Effect of cosmetic cream on the mechanical properties of skin

Skin is one of the largest organs in the body and the first defense barrier that protects the body against external factors. Therefore having a healthy skin is essential for maintaining a good appearance and protective function. The cosmetic creams used by many women on a regular basis should actually be used to improve health, but unfortunately these products will show a devastating effect in the long run. The destructive effects of these products change the appearance of the skin after many years. Therefore, changes in the biomechanical properties of the tissue are assumed to have occurred during this time. To address what changes have occurred in the biomechanical properties of the tissue, half of the waist skin of some rats was soaked in cosmetic powder cream for two months and the other half of the skin of each specimen was placed as a reference for the same specimen. After this time, the specimens were isolated and subjected to uni-axis tensile test. The stress-strain curve of each sample was plotted and compared with its reference sample. It was observed that with each application of cream, the modulus of elasticity and yield stress and maximum stress decreased compared to the reference sample, and the yield stress and maximum stress increased. This indicates that the texture has lost its initial firmness and flexibility, and so-called wrinkled skin. The results of this study show the extent of changes in the following parameters that indicate the extent of skin destruction during two months of continuous use of cosmetics.
