The features, which should be considered in designing the elderly-friendly housing with a social participation approach, were finally introduced according to a questionnaire by the author, and answers of 50 elderly people (over 65 years of age) in Isfahan. The elderly need to live independently, but with their children and other generations. In this regard, the intergenerational housing has been introduced and taken into consideration in developed countries in recent years.
