Today, with the advent of technology, we are witnessing widespread changes in communications every day. In the supply chain, information transparency and information security is one of the most important features among supply chain partners.
Companies have been keen to improve information security and transparency and increase productivity through the blockchain technology.
In this study, we will first discuss how the effects of blockchain technology on the supply chain are inveloped, and then, with reference to some examples from different companies, evaluate its implementation in MAPNA Pars Generator Company.
It is an applied research in terms of how to conduct a qualitative (in-depth interview), quantitative (survey) method. Firstly by studying the subject literature extensively and examining the effects of blockchain technology on the supply chain.
Then, by applying the supply chain of Pars Generator Mapna Company, we present an applied model of blockchain technology in this company and then evaluate the proposed model and finally compile the data collected from this research. This is illustrated in the evaluation section of this template. This template will be presented using the ABAS method and evaluated with the ATAM method.
In the evaluation stage, the model is presented in five characteristic: cost, quality, speed, reliability, risk reduction and flexibility, and examines the outputs of this model and then evaluates the model together. Given the strengths and weaknesses of this model in the organization, it is clear whether the model is useful or not.
In this thesis, the effects of applying blockchain technology on the supply chain of Mapna Pars Company will be discussed and different areas of application of this technology will be shown. Applying this model as well as the empirical findings of this technology can lead to improved information security, transparency and efficiency in the supply chain. In general, through the model of using blockchain technology in the supply chain, one can address the positive effects of this technology on the supply chain while at the same time addressing the constraints and concerns related to technology implementation.
