Color as one of the most important aspects of life, which reveals its influence at first glance among a variety of identity factors in the city, can be effective in guiding and induction specific reactions to people. for this purpose, for many years, mankind has been searching for a combination of colors, while at the same time creating harmony, desirability, and peace in the audience, applying it in the urban space, provides the memorable Image in user’s mind. Colors can lead to attraction, vitality, diversity and also can increase the presence and participation of citizens. But if use it incorrectly and inconsistently with each other and with other space elements, it can lead to general anxiety, fatigue, nervousness, and tension in the users and thus causes space escape and increases the visual and spatial confusion and non-Identity. Therefore, considering effective factors in color design such as climate, culture, background and color identity, the nature of space, context color, and most importantly the color preferences of users of the desired space, creates the memorable urban spaces in the Image of the users which provides a place that people want to return. In recent years, due to the multiplicity of urban problems caused by inappropriate management, the use of color has lost its originality, and disregard for the concept of color as the most important visual element contributing to emotional effects on the human mind and psyche has been increased. Urban Designers and decision makers, without regard to color harmony science and principles, without recognizing the urban and identity contexts, without considering the dominant colors of past cities and color preferences of the users, aimlessly paint in the city resulting in impermeability, uniformity and The existing visual disturbances and the scarce remnants of the memorials have been a collective memory that has had a detrimental effect on the psyche of the citizens and has reduced the quality and desirability of urban spaces. Accordingly, the present study seeks to explain the role of color in the urban landscape in general and specifically in the Salamat path-way of shiraz and by providing a harmonious color palette depending on the nature of space and user preferences, and with improving the mood of Citizens, due to the presence of color, makes them more prone to space and cause the space memorable in their minds.
the present study is classified into applied research and based on the nature of the data in the cluster of mixed-research (qualitative-qualitative). In this regard, after reviewing the basics and concepts presented in library studies and examining successful global examples of color use in cities, their goals and results, criteria and indicators related to use of the color in city and image of the users are explained and prioritized based on the opinions of the professors and the urban design elites. then the current color palette of the area has been investigated and expertly analyzed based on the aforementioned indicators and users' visual preferences.
Besides, the present study seeks to shape the images of users by managing the use of color in the Salamat path-way of Shiraz so that by reminding the space, the colors have a dual and favorable effect on their mood and sense of well-being.
Accordingly, by presenting color guidelines, appropriate and inappropriate use of each color in space is presented along with the impact and effects of each color on space and its users, and in particular, the design guidelines and 3D model of Salamat path-way was presented on the obtained criteria and indicators and user’s The user color preferences to memorialize the space in the image of users.
in this regard , the general population has been designed and their recommendations have improved the design quality. As a complement to the user-centered design process, the design has been demonstrated using virtual reality glasses for users of the place to provide positive and negative feedback that improves the design and adapts to the users' preferences. In this regard, most of the users have evaluated the design as desirable and their suggestions have improved the quality of the design.
