Today, due to the negative consequences of the industrial world, the preservation of the world's natural resources has become one of the most important concerns of today's humanity, For this reason, mankind seeks a way to minimize the negative impacts of buildings on the environment, and in fact seeks a way to integrate with nature by increasing efficiency and optimizing materials consumption, energy and space expansion. The green building, also known as the sustainable building, is known as an area of civil engineering that seeks to control the negative consequences of the construction industry. Buildings that are defined as green buildings must meet established standards, so it has been many years since the development of green building scoring systems in different countries. In this descriptive-survey study, with studying several examples of the world's top scoring systems and the criteria for extracting the materials in these systems, also the study of library resources including articles and endnotes related to green materials, a framework for materials adapted to Iran's climate in order to build green buildings is presented. For this purpose, 20 selected criteria were identified and classified into 7 categories among the extracted criteria and the experts' proposed criteria using the Delphi two-stage method. Then, the categories and criteria of each category were weighted by Likert spectrum based on the order of importance and the best and worst categories and the criteria of each category were determined using the best-worst multivariate decision analysis method. Among them, "materials structure" categories with a weight of 0.385 and "resources" with a weight of 0.195 accounted for more than half of the weight of the set and the "recycling" category with a weight of 0.38 get as less important among the other categories. Also, among the 20 selected criteria, the criterion "Non-use of toxic and persistent chemical elements and compounds" was ranked as the most important one with a weight of 0.22583. Also, after assigning points to the criteria and studying the project of construction of the toll-highway building in Tehran-North, this project was rated as moderate to good with 62 points.
