In recent years, experience and knowledge acquisition have been considered in Iran and in form of various knowledge management projects. In general, the experience acquisition of the expert who are being retired and experts of the organization has been a central focus of these activities and has resulted in a variety of experiences and booklets in the field. But surveys show that lack of clear and indigenous framework and roadmap for doing this, lack of attention to the type of knowledge and experience, lack of proper scientific technique consistent with knowledge and experience are important factors that lead to failure or Proper effectiveness of these projects. Accordingly, in the present study, while presenting a model for converting tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge in the aerospace industry in defense organizations, we will identify and prioritize the factors affecting the process of conversion of tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge (in the aerospace industry in defense organizations). In this regard, we first review the results of previous research in this area and then extract the existing models of explicit knowledge conversion. Then, by interviewing experts in the aerospace industry in defense organizations, while presenting an indigenous model in the aerospace industry, the components of converting tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge are presented and prioritized through a questionnaire and opinion poll from experts in the field of knowledge management. As result of this study, a three-phase model (preparation, identification, implementation) is presented to transform the Tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge in the aerospace industry in defense organizations. In response to the study sub-questions, while identifying the components of converting the tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge, prioritizing them has also been identified and most of them are : the spirit of sharing and collaborating among employees, support for the organization`s top executives in the process of converting the tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge, the dominant of converting the tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge team with the tools and techniques of work, and proper communication and interaction of converting the tacit knowledge into explicit team with the experts.
