Among the high-risk behaviors that are known to be the common cause of traffic accidents, speeding or speeding violations are one of the most important factors known to be involved in traffic accidents. Inappropriate high speed is the most important road safety problem in many countries. Therefore, accidents due to violations of speed limits have been studied among the causes of accidents. The purpose of this study is to investigate the main factors affecting the increased risk of accidents caused by speeding violations. The study method is based on the concept of quasi-induced exposure, logistic regression models and classification and regression tree (CART). In this method, the probability of drivers being at-fault is used as a criterion for accident risk assessment and in the final model, drivers' probability of being at-fault is calculated based on a function of the studied variables and the interactions between them. The statistical population includes vehicles except motorcycles and bicycles during the years 1391 to 1395. The results show that factors such as age, gender, type of license and type of vehicle have a significant effect on the risk of blame. The results also showed that the interactive effect of environmental variables (such as shoulder type, land use, road surface moisture, type of road traffic, location geometry) and temporal variables (such as time of the day, days of the week) with age and gender were not statistically significant. Therefore, only by showing the relative risk involvement coefficients, the relative risk is increased or decreased, which can be deduced from the study of the interactive effects of gender and environment, women and the elderly people are more cautious in inappropriate environmental conditions and the relative risk is reduced .Finally, measures such as safe and speeding driving training in schools, a stronger financial penalty for dealing with speeding offenders, installing speeding signs and warning signs at city entrances, installing speed cameras and equipping all domestic and imported cars with speed control systems can be one of the most effective solutions in order to compliance speed limits.
