The new manufacturing paradigm Industry, 4.0 or Industrial Internet of Things refers to digitalization and connecting industries and creating value. This development is assumed to yield extensive industry-spanning opportunities. However, using these opportunities needs a targeted implementation of the IIoT. The goal of this study is to generate a deeper understanding of relevant implementation actions that need to be taken into IIOT. The frameworks that have been presented so far, have been mainly designed for a specific section of IIOT plus, in addition, management and business viewpoint haven’t been considered in them. So, the goal of this research is to shed light on complicated process of IIOT implementation to fulfill potential opportunities. At first step, a beta version of practical implementation framework of IIOT is presented by means of systematic literature review. To maximize more functionality and security, blockchain has been included. Then the framework was presented in an expert panel which led to general recommendations. Besides, a semi-structured in-depth interview has been done as primary comments source around the first version of framework. After reforming the framework according to the recommendations, to validate it, the framework was presented to another expert population via a questionnaire in structured interviews. All interviews are transcribed and serve as text material to be examined according to the qualitative content analysis. This research develops a comprehensive framework providing necessary and effective actions to be taken when implementing digital and connected future industrial value creation. The framework included twelve sections: strategy, business, usage, function, implementation, customers, suppliers, key partners, key resources, blockchain, skills and improvisation. Beside the framework, an implementation methodology has been presented.
