Due to the importance of increasing the efficiency of heat transfer mechanisms, And the growing need for more efficient energy transfer, the issue of dropwise condensation as one of the most optimal methods of heat transfer has drawn a lot of attention among the researchers. One of the areas that has attracted a lot of attention is correction of the surface micro-nano structure to achieve droplet condensation. In this study, due to the fact that one of the requirements for dropwise condensation is hydrophobic or super-hydrophobic surfaces, attempts have been made to produce an optimal surface in terms of contact angle. For this purpose, roughness is created on the surface using electrodeposition method, then, using a solution of 1-Octadecanethiol and ethanol, the surface energy is reduced to obtain a hydrophobic surface. Then, according to the contact angle, the parameters of the electrodeposition process are optimized. Then dropwise condensation tests are performed and the results of the corrections are reviewed. The stability of the improvements made is also examined.
