Van atta antenna or retrodirective antenna are considered as self-phase antennas and are classified as smart antennas. This type of antenna works in such a way that it reflects the wave in the direction of radiation. The RDA antenna operates first in the receiving mode and then in the transmitting mode. In a wireless connection (fixed and mobile), the system is able to automatically direct the antenna gain towards the wave transmitting source. This function, in addition to reducing power consumption And reducing interference between different receivers leads to a new possibility to increase the channel capacity to use a certain bandwidth and increase RCS.
In general, the structure of RDA is based on 3 methods:
1- Right corner
2-van atta array (passive feeding)
3-pon heterodyne (active feeding)
In this dissertation, by using the second method, passive power supply, we will first achieve new relationships through smart antennas regarding RDA antenna power supply. Then, by applying it to the antenna power supply in a one-dimensional way and then in a two-dimensional way, the design is done.
Then, by taking advantage of the new relationships and applying it to the new RDA antenna power lines, a phase shift from the existing state is provided. As a result, it is possible to reflect the wave with the desired shift angle based on the design.
For example, a 2 × 2 array antenna is designed with its phase shift feeder network and the input wave to the array antenna is redirected to the desired angles in the case of re-irradiation. Finally, using the obtained relations And the execution of the matlab code, the areas of the antenna are examined in which the output wave is afraid of the 10 degree shift in relation to the input, and this issue will be displaced in the page φ = 265 to φ = 306 degrees and θ = 5 to θ = 35 degrees.
