Abstract:
The historical context of the country's cities which in most cases form the core of those cities, On the other hand, it is part of the cultural and historical heritage of those cities, and their preservation, physical progress and functional empowerment are inevitable and On the other hand, most of these tissues wear out over time and lack proper care and maintenance. Identifying the physical and functional condition of these tissues in order to plan and manage their maintenance is one of the basic and important measures that must be taken. The historical texture of Majdi passages, located in Qala neighborhood, Dezful city, is one of these textures. In this research, in terms of the main physical indicators (Number of floors, type of building materials, quality of buildings, life of buildings, land use status, etc.) have been evaluated and analyzed. In this research, which is descriptive-analytical, first by collecting documents and library studies, we examine the concepts and definitions related to historical contexts and methods of intervention in them. Then, in the second stage, that is, collecting information about the current status of the project, field survey method and documentary studies have been used. In the last part, according to the physical characteristics of this passage and the Swot table, it offers suggestions that can help improve performance and physical performance with flooring, wall painting, creating several spaces and designing it, as well as repairing and restoring it.
