There is no doubt that from the past, role and position of evaluation and performance management systems in organizations is characterized and considerable. In recent years which complexity, flexibility, speed, competition and accountability to the customers and audience affects more, evaluation and performance management systems has more value and importance. During the past years, in most agencies, performance evaluation systems has been designed but it has a special significance in the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), because first in Iran IRIB is the uniquely media, and second it has broad and wide audience, third it is one of the most attractive and powerful existing media and finally with special influence through indirect transfer message, it can cause changes in social values and audience behavior patterns that might not otherwise be exposed to these changes. Scientific studies and practical experiences of past years suggests that in spite of all the efforts, there are some obstacles, challenges and difficulties in establishing efficient and correct implementation of performance evaluation system in IRIB . Certainly resolving these difficulties, effectiveness and efficiency will be much greater. Some of the most important things that can be mentioned are the need to move toward a comprehensive system of monitoring and low guaranteed evaluation.
