Heterogeneous catalysts of Cu2O supported on Corn Silk (CS@Cu) and Cu2O supported on magnetic core-shell Corn Silk (Fe3O4@SiO2‐CS‐Cu) were prepared and were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and Xray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The Catalysts shown good catalytic activity for synthesis of 1,4-disubstituted-1,2,3-triazoles via click reaction of sodium azide, benzyl halides and terminal alkynes in H2O at 70°C. The advantages of this are the absence of reducing and base, high yields, easy separation of the catalyst, easy separation of products.
