Global crises have had a profound effect on the lifestyles of the peoples of the world from the past to the present, and have always been a matter of concern to the governments and peoples of the world. Therefore, predicting and simulating them is necessary and essential for a better human life in the future, and to enjoy a high quality of life, one must inevitably turn to future research.
From the point of view of human freedom, it is essential to imagine different futures and then choose between them. The opposite of this claim is also true. To be an excellent future researcher, we must want to be the right person and, in other words, be concerned about the well-being of others. In this regard, it is necessary for people to reach knowledge beyond these two questions: "What is the future?" And even beyond "what can it be?". In general, these questions should eventually lead to the question, "What should the future be?"
Crisis analysis, scenario planning, landscaping, modelling and simulation are all aspects of futures research that are near related to architecture in terms of influencing socio-cultural levels as well as influencing human lifestyles. Part of writing a script for the future is to look at the crises ahead, which can be the basis for careful study of future architectural designs. By mentioning only a few significant cases, we will understand the depth of this concern. Crises such as population growth (according to most studies and forecasts by 2050), climate change, fossil fuel depletion, environmental pollution, water and food shortages, transportation, energy supply, education are essential for future researchers and architects by its direct impact on people's lifestyles.
Urban populations are projected to reach 80percent by 2020 and by more than 70percent of the world's population by 2050. According to the needs of the residents of the complexes, we will need more and deeper infrastructure by that year. In this regard, it is necessary to examine more carefully how to meet these needs, given the importance of sustainability, especially social sustainability, which according to the principled definitions of researchers, as one of the primary future needs of residents of residential complexes. Besides, the need for design in Iran due to population growth and the importance of economic issues leads designers to build high-rise buildings with maximum use of available land. Since the future is not fixed and has a common goal and other predictions inferred from the past are no longer reliable, we need to understand the future to plan and make better decisions; therefore, in this study, we try to rely on the review of existing problems and challenges to address future needs, priorities and trends for design and construction and predict future needs and enumerate the advantages of modular design as a priority in future designs. In addition to these cases, using the analysis of case samples and data obtained from the creation of the visual questionnaire, we will be able to present the proposed plan of the residential complex with appropriate use of technology elements in 2050.
