Social security in cities is a concept that all citizens consider as one of the highest values in their value hierarchy, so that according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs, security is one of the basic needs. Existence of security in urban environments is one of the requirements Quality of life is essential. It is natural that not all groups are equally affected by the insecurity in society, but certain groups, including women and children, are more vulnerable due to their special characteristics.
First, by examining the research background, the dimensions and physical components affecting the quality of space that promoted women's social security were extracted and the relationship between the research keywords was drawn in tabular form and completed with Delphi method with the opinion of women experts in the field of architecture. In this study, the social security of women in Darabad neighborhood, which is one of the neighborhoods of Tehran, which is one of the neighborhoods of Tehran that has tissue burnout, high density, environmental issues, poverty, deprivation, physical problems and improper construction And without regulation and also the establishment of housing units in areas with other uses has caused insecurity of women in this neighborhood. The table of components obtained for women's security using survey research method and field survey tools and questionnaires in the form of 17 The measurement was evaluated by women experts in the field of architecture and urban planning, leading to strategies to improve women's safety. The sampling method is "cluster random". The sample size is 18 people. The data were analyzed by SPSS software. The research findings indicate that the components of control and monitoring, accessibility and permeability, flexibility, user mixing jointly in the functional category, readability component, social interactions, vitality, comfort and security in the aesthetic experimental category are the most important components. Women are considered in promoting social security. Also, the environmental dimension with three components of favorable landscape, climatic comfort and ecosystem balance are the least important components for promoting women's social security. For this purpose, designing a residential complex by promoting women's social security has been proposed considering the obtained components. .
