Abstract
In this dissertation, the ultrasonic method was investigated as a method for recycling tire. In this work, operational parameters such as time and ultrasonic power were tested in 7 different modes, as well as 3 types of substrates of water, oil and toluene alone and in combination as a substrate for swelling of rubber powder were examined. The time of immersion of the powder in the bed is one of the influential factors in the efficiency and the rate of curing of rubber, which in this dissertation was studied in 3 different times of 24, 0 and 48 hours. The process temperature was 30 ° C, 60 ° C and 90 ° C in three modes and the maximum application time was 15 and 30 minutes. In this work, two different types of ultrasonic probe and bath devices were used, as well as two chemicals, Vitax (an industrial substance that breaks cross linkes) in two different amounts of 0.6 and 1.2 phr (one unit of 100 units of crude rubber) and DPDS (diphenyl disulfide for breaking crosslinkes) with a value of phr 1.2 were used as the devucanization agent. The efficiency of annealing operations and chemical changes in the samples were evaluated using Pyrolysis-FTIR, TGA, MDR, DSC and tensile tests. In this work, the devulcanization percentage was obtained by swelling test in toluene and insoluble and soluble fraction by extraction with acetone. According to the results of SO24T (20-60) vitax1.2 sample, which had the highest sintering percentage (52%) according to the results of inflation test, its tensile properties were 13 MPa, while the control sample was 13.29 MPa.
