Nowadays, industrialization and prefabrication of building is one of the necessities in the world, especially in countries such as Iran, which have many deficiencies in the field of construction. Although the answer to this need in the country can be solved through industrialization, but it should be noted that if this isn’t done with careful and prudent planning and taking into account all technical, engineering and architectural aspects, there may be crises in this field. Ther are many examples of failed industrialized projects in developed countries and some have reached the stage of destruction due to many problems. The issue of industrialization in Iran also has many challenges. Market preferences, opposition from constructors and manufacturers, lack of specialization among the executive and labor forces, the need to provide high initial capital and the lack of accurate and applicable standards are some of the challenges facing this method. This research seeks to find design strategies in the industrialization system according to the conditions and facilities of Iran and to investigate the executive shortcomings in this field. In this case, first the theoretical foundations of industrialization are examined and the types of systems are defined. Then, the main characteristics of industrialization are mentioned and in order to benefit from an optimal system, considering the executive methods used in Iran and the equipment available in design, production and installation, relying on library studies and conducting open interviews with 7 active experts. In the field of industrialization, we have tried to find the existing challenges in the field of production and implementation (challenges that can be answered in design process) and provide solutions for them. In the first stage, according to the definition and characteristics of industrialization, design strategies of modulation and mass production are extracted and then to optimize and adapt these strategies to the conditions and facilities in Iran, interviews with experts of production and implementation have been conducted. Using appropriate software in the design and production of each section, finding the importance of Shop drawings, paying attention to the permitted dimensions of transportation, considering appropriate modules according to the waste and dimensions of raw materials, using the maximum capacity of the vehicle, styling reducing on site works, designing based on existing profile sections, designing simple bolt and nut connections for on-site assembly, considering the desired tolerances according to accuracy and execution conditions, designing modules with the ability to pre-assemble on the ground and finally On-site installation and use of composite materials are some of the cases that according to the experience of experts, suitable solutions can be considered for them at the time of design. Due to the importance of optimizing this system and reducing the cost of industrial construction, observing these points along with general design strategies in the industrial system is one of the requirements in this area. While the points raised are not all involved in determining the design strategy and this issue can be expanded.
