Considering that turism and turism attraction is one of the most important factor in economic development and according to potentials in the free zones,in this thesis, an attempt has been made to design a residential complex in a building in the Aras Free Zone in Jolfa city, using indigenous architectural patterns and renewable energies, for the prosperity of the region's ecotourism. The most important question of the present study is how to achieve a model for sustainability and appropriate solutions for designing the collection and its most important goal is to achieve self sufficiency in producing the required energy for the proposed collection .
According to the mentioned issues , in this thesis, in the first chapter, the research framework was discussed, which included expression of the problem , importance and necessity of research, research questions and objectives, hypothesis, background and innovation aspect of research, and finally the research method. In the second chapter, theoretical foundations, terminology and then the history of the subject as well as the views of experts were discussed, and after these issues, the principles of sustainability and how and the use of renewable energy in order to further protect the environment were discussed. In the third chapter, we discussed similar examples in Iran and the world that were similar to the climate and use of the proposed collection, and their points of design were reviewed and analyzed. In the fourth chapter, in order to identify the environmental contex and study the climate of the site, firstly East Azarbaijan province and then the general appearance of Jolfa city as well as the advantages of being in Aras free zone were analyzed.Afterward , the local architecture of Julfa and the suitable forms for this climate (cold and mountainous)and the local materials used for this region were analyzed. Then we analyzed Julfa climate, design solution in cold and mountainous areas and the effect of wind and solar energy on architecture and form of plans in cold climate. In chapter five chapter, the proposed site is evaluated using the EIA method and its results are presented. In the sixth chapter , standards and spatial planning, the desired functions of the plan are described and the criteria and standards required for their design are presented. And finally , the spatial planning of the present design is presented in the form of tables. In the seventh chapter, the design sheets including the design process and architectural evidences are presented.
According to the problem statement and condducted studies mentioned above , the proposed topic was designed and all objectives were achieved and research questions were considered and answered in the design .Also, in design, the principles of sustainability and sustainable architecture have been tried as the basis of design from various aspects, and appropriate answers have been given to climatic challenges, and possible self-sufficiency in the production of energy required by a collection , which will be resolved in this issue. It has been done to protect the environment and will ultimately bring comfort to users and locals.
