Abstract:
Introduction: Earthquake is one of the most common emergencies that has recurringly occurred in Iran and has many unfortunate consequences. This project is a study based on three areas: first, identifying the risks of emergencies (in this study, earthquakes), cognitive studies in the field of user interface, management and relief operations as well as a look at Gensai's approach. Through a complete study, an attempt was made to design relief products, a smart system, and related accessories, and in order to provide a solution for counting the victims and managing them and modifying the relief method, it was standardized and evaluated by the user.
Purpose: The purpose of this project is to create and review the user interface designed for statistics and systematization of relief to victims after an accident and analyze the understanding of users of this application and also change and accelerate relief products.
Methodology: This is a descriptive and practical project which was subject to needs analysis and indexing with descriptive, survey, ethnographic and field methods. Initially, a needs analysis was conducted using the method of reviewing research texts regarding emergencies, and its information was collected from studying sources and searching for articles on related sites and databases, and was subject to a local needs analysis based on field studies.
After designing the prototype, this application was assessed in a satisfactory oriented method based on the Likert questionnaire and assessment of the users’ behaviors; it was also evaluated according to the product design with a Gensai view and its producibility.
Findings: Based on the studies, the findings showed that most of the mess is created due to the post-accident Gensai division. The need to reform crisis management is made possible by statistics, and a change in the relief method is prioritized. Regarding the smart system design based on research done based on Likert evaluation levels, the users have confirmed the three main features of considering the criteria user-friendliness, graphical interfaces quality and emotional-communicative quality, measurement of perceptibility and desirability of graphic elements are all high standard. Also, in this product, high usability and appropriate added value has resulted in high quality of public relief.
Value / Originality: This project, not only designs a relief application based on the desired features and benefits from the existing backgrounds and experts' opinions, but also provides the possibility to create a new post-accident statistics method in addition to change and moderate the view towards relief.
