In this study, nickel sulfide / copper sulfide composites were synthesized for the first time by solution combustion method and their electrochemical performance as electrode material of supercapacitors was investigated. For the synthesis of nickel sulfide / copper sulfide composite, thiourea and thioacetamide fuels alone were used, as well as a mixture of thiourea / urea, thiourea / thioacetamide and thioacetamide / glycine. The solution combustion method is a simple, adaptable, time-consuming and energy-efficient method. The synthesized powders were characterized by XRD, Thermal analysis, FESEM, TEM and BET analysis. The results of these analyzes are the formation of various composites of nickel sulfide and copper sulfide such as NiS2/CuS, NiS2/Cu2S, NiS2/Cu51S27, NiS2/Cu7.20S4, NiS/Cu7.20S4, Ni3S2/Cu2S, NiS/Cu7.19S4, NiS/Cu7.19S4, NiS/CuS showed different morphologies by varying the amount of different fuels. The electrochemical performance of the synthesized powders was investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) tests, galvanostatic charge-discharge potential (GCD), and electrochemical impedance spectrum (EIS). Based on the results of the cyclic voltammetry test, the presence of reciprocating peaks in the cyclic voltammetric diagram indicates that there is a potential for energy storage for the material, which was observed in all samples. Based on the results of galvanostatic charge-discharge potential test, the best specific capacity for the synthesized samples of thioacetamide / glycine in 3, 2 and 1.33 molar ratios of Fg-1581, Fg-1400 and Fg-1639 were measured, respectively. . Based on the results of electrochemical impedance spectrum test for the best sample in terms of specific capacity, the parameters Rs (solution resistance), Rct (resistance to electron exchange), CPE (except metal constant) and Wo (Warburg coefficient and penetration resistance) are 1.92, respectively. , 0.2189, 25 and 0.88 were measured, which indicates good conductivity of the synthesized material. The result of BET test was also measured for the best sample in terms of specific capacity of 30.3781 m2/g.
