Therefore, team building is considered an important issue in entrepreneurship. To have a proper entrepreneurial team, the team building process must be done well. Team building strategies in turn affect the team building process. There are two dominant strategies for answering the question of how people choose their team: the interpersonal attraction strategy and the sourcing strategy. Interpersonal attraction strategy selects team members based on shared interests, motivation to work with similar people to establish a fruitful relationship, family, friendly and ethnic working groups. The sourcing strategy selects team members based on a focus on complementary needs, individual capital, knowledge and skills. In team building, these strategies can be used in combination or sequentially. In this study, we seek to model the effects of team building strategies on the coordination, specialization and performance of high-tech startups. In this research, components are first examined to determine which of the strategies used by the study team, and then the effects of using these strategies on specialization and coordination processes and finally their effects on performance are examined. Modeling of these effects is done using the structural equation least squares method. The results show that sourcing strategy has a higher effect on the coordination process and sourcing strategy has a greater effect on the specialization process. Both sourcing and coordination processes have an almost equal and significant positive effect on the performance of startups.
