Recently, one of the main welfare amenities in most countries is to set sports equipment in parks or outdoor places and encourage people to use them. Currently, in developed countries, stations, exercising locations, and entertaining parks, as social and public places, are good examples of promoting the benefits of healthy sports and recreation which play a significant role in society. The use of sportive outdoor furniture in these parks is one of the effective factors to generate public sport. The main goal of this thesis aims to explore requirements to redesign this sports equipment from the users' point of view, redesign and upgrade it. Due to the study's main goals, the thesis ahead has been utilized through UCD methodology. A survey from users happened at first then according to extracted information based on theoretical criteria of the study, a questionnaire with Cronbach's alpha of 0.925 was designed and was answered by 84 people. In the following, eight individuals were interviewed. Data achieved by the process indicates that in the user's sight, this equipment is evaluated well in terms of safety and performance but from visual, formal, and aesthetical aspects, there is room to redesign. Nevertheless, according to the literature review, questionnaire and user interview, the main point highlighted here is the lack of a tool as a complementing accessory besides the equipment mentioned above, the introduction and user's guidance, which improves the using process in an effective way. Therefore, an effort was made to design a service-system product. The design is performed in a pack of outdoor sports accessories including exercising equipment as physical tools and a service design as a complement to it. Services introduced in this design are the ability to communicate with physicians and trainers, instructing how to use devices correctly, providing exercise and diet programs, and also an application supporting the requirements of usage. Design provided along with this equipment is a bridge connecting equipment and services. In the Physical section, an attempt has been made to take into account the users' requirements who are generally people from old age and helps to fulfill their needs which assists them to take advantage of this system.
