In recent years, the home quarantine caused by the outbreak of the Covid virus has has led to Bold depression, which has long been one of the most common mental disorders worldwide. The house and, in its macro form, housing, as the place of life and space that man must be in all the days of Covid. It seems that one of the issues that is less considered in the current housing design in Tehran and can reduce the damage caused by the quarantine of Quid 19 is the need to reconsider the semi-open space in housing design. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of different design strategies for semi-open residential spaces on reducing residents' depression in the home conditions of the Covid 19 epidemic. The research method of this research is combined. In the stage of research literature, descriptive-analytical method has been used. The parameters obtained from the literature of the subject have been weighted through Shannon entropy, which is a small method of work in this stage. Then the questionnaire was designed based on higher weight parameters and was given to the statistical population of Dehvanak residents. The method used in this step is survey. Then, Friedman test was performed on the answers to the questionnaire, the result of which shows that the indicators can be ranked and the difference between the indicators is significant. The results show that the dimensions of space, diversity, building details, lighting, green space and terrace location in the plan are the most effective indicators in making residential architecture more desirable and reducing depression. The first solution is to design the dimensions of the space. According to this, all semi-open spaces, terraces must have a width of at least 2.5 meters, and also accordion doors can be used for semi-open spaces. The second parameter is the spatial diversity, which can be covered by considering different activities for the terrace. This parameter also overlaps with the dimensions of the space, so that if the dimensions of 2.5 x 5 meters as the minimum dimensions for the terrace in To be considered. It is possible to hold various activities in it. Flexible furniture solution has also been used in the design to characterize diversity. The next characteristic is the details of the building, which according to the researches can include color, material, odor, fountain, vegetation, etc. Lighting is the fourth factor in the design that to use sunlight can be used folding tent structure for the roof of the terrace space. Green space, vegetation and the possibility of planting in the porch space (which is done by interconnected modular pots) are other design solutions.
