According to the philosophy of using the building information modeling process, which has emerged to increase collaboration and coordination in projects, it is expected that if using the building information modeling process, collaboration will increase and thus improve the construction process, but due to new map definitions. Also, advanced technologies and issues such as the implementation and execution of this process not only increase cooperation, but also increase tensions in the project and make it difficult to coordinate the project. Therefore, in this research, to study and collect the influential factors and barriers of Collaboration in projects use a model of building information modeling. Semi-structured interview from 12 industry experts in Iran, these indicators were identified. Finally, in the form of a conceptual model, influential factors and barriers to collaboration in projects with a BIM platform were classified to lead to an increase in collaboration in future projects. The results of the research show that in general, Iran is on the same level in terms of cooperation, both in terms of factors and obstacles, compared to the results of research in different countries, only in some areas it is different.
