Due to the growth of products and competition in the market, the need for products and services has generally grown significantly and technologies have also developed with it. These cases have created a competitive and economic advantage for them in developed countries, which has made a significant difference in advanced industries. One of the most widely used technologies in these industries, especially in industries such as aerospace, transportation, etc., is welding technology. According to the field of research activity and industry needs, the present study was defined with the aim of identifying and proposing an appropriate model for the acquisition of solid-state welding technology in advanced industries. For this purpose and before reaching the type of welding, first the types of welds required that are a priority for advanced industries were identified. A questionnaire was then prepared and experts were asked to prioritize among the boils. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed by AHP method, according to which friction welding had a higher priority. Then another questionnaire was designed to identify the best method of friction welding technology transfer, the results of which were analyzed by Shannon entropy method, according to which the endogenous development and research method was agreed by experts as a suitable method of technology transfer. In the final step of the research and with the aim of technology transfer and acquisition and using action research method, a team was formed in the welding center of the University of Science and Technology and tried to transfer and acquire technology and its challenges and problems. The results of the research in the action research phase, while successfully transferring technology, show that the parameters presented in the articles were largely erroneous and this made it difficult to use the articles. In the field of patents, because most of them were ideas, they practically did not significantly assist in the transfer of technology. In the field of industrial implementation, the lack of industrial production line and related devices in the country have been among the other factors identified in the field of challenges and obstacles to the transfer and acquisition of technology.
