One of these errors is a defect in the rotor, which is one of the most important parts of the engine, and its failure causes the engine to fail. Condition monitoring or condition monitoring is at the core of a condition-based maintenance strategy. This strategy is based on the belief that most failures of industrial machinery and equipment, after reaching a certain stage, show signs that can be expressed in the form of vibrations, sound, ultrasonic waves, erosive particles , Detected the temperature and predicted the occurrence of failure.Therefore, before the failure reaches the critical stages, the progress of the failure can be stopped by planning the repair activity and its implementation.In the present dissertation, first the necessity of research and project objectives are stated. Chapter 2 provides an overview of induction motor faults, including rotor faults, stator faults, and mechanical faults. Chapter 3 reviews engine fault detection methods. In the fourth and fifth chapters, two error detection methods, which are the methods of frequency signal spectrum and also wavelet analysis for fracture error (crack) of the rotor rod are analyzed and investigated.
