تومور سرطاني از نوع DCIS اولين شكل سرطان پستان است كه تشخيص به موقع آن مي‌تواند از بروز سرطان پستان مهاجم جلوگيري كند. در اين پژوهش، دو مدل رياضي مربوط به الگوي رشد سلول‌هاي سرطاني DCIS معرفي شده‌اند. در فصل اول مفاهيم و تعاريف رياضي مورد نياز براي شناخت و تحليل مدل‌ها بيان شده اند. در فصل دوم به بررسي مكانيزم رشد سلول‌هاي سرطاني پرداخته شده است. بررسي اولين مدل از ديدگاه مسائل مستقيم، اثبات وجود و يكتايي جواب و پياده‌سازي روش عددي ريتز-گالركين در فصل سوم انجام شده است و در فصل چهارم از ديدگاه مسائل معكوس به بررسي دومين مدل DCIS پرداخته شده است و اثبات وجود و يكتايي جواب و دقت روش ريتز-گالركين با اجراي اين روش عددي بر روي دو مثال نشان داده شده است.

Analytical and Numerical Investigation of Direct and Inverse Problems Associate with DCIS Cancer Tumors

DCIS cancerous tumor is the first form of breast cancer that early detection can prevent invasive breast cancer. In this study, two mathematical models related to the growth pattern of DCIS cancer cells have been introduced. In the first chapter, mathematical concepts and definitions required for analyzing the models are stated. In the second chapter, the growth mechanism of cancer cells is investigated. The study of the first model from the perspective of direct problems, proof of existence and uniqueness of the solution and implementation of the Ritz-Galerkin numerical method is done in the third chapter. In chapter four, another DCIS model is considered as an inverse problem and the existence and uniqueness of the solution and the accuracy of the Ritz-Galerkin method are investigated. The numerical results are shown for two examples.
