تحليل فرآيند تصور با استفاده از سيگنال EOG

در اين پژوهش با روشي آزمايشگاهي، برهم¬كنش¬هاي ميان چشم و مغز در فرآيندهاي شناختي شامل فراخواني حافظه، تصور و تصميم¬گيري بررسي شده¬اند. براي مطالعه¬ي اين فرآيندها، چهار آزمايش طراحي و پياده¬سازي شده است. حركات چشم نيز به كمك روش الكترواكولوگرافي (EOG) ثبت شده است. آزمايش¬ها در محلي تاريك و بي¬صدا انجام شده است. 14 نفر شامل 8 مرد و 6 زن در اين آزمايش¬ها شركت كرده¬اند. محرك¬هاي صوتي و تصويري با استفاده از ارايه¬ي تصاوير به كمك ويدئو پروژكتور روي صفحه¬ي نمايش و هدفون روي سر شركت¬كنندگان ارائه شده است. داده¬هايي كه از شركت¬كنندگان ثبت شده است نيز شامل سيگنال¬هاي EOG از دو كانال افقي و عمودي و سيگنال صداي افراد هنگام آزمايش است. در آزمايش انجام شده ويدئويي سه دقيقه¬اي به شركت¬كننده نمايش داده و سپس از فرد خواسته مي¬شود كه با چشمان بسته و فقط با شنيدن صداي ويدئو، تصاوير آن را در ذهن خود بازسازي كند. سپس چهار عكس هر يك ده ثانيه نمايش داده و پس از نمايش هر يك، تصور آن¬ها به همان مدت انجام مي¬شود. براي پردازش داده¬ها، ميزان شباهت سيگنال¬هاي EOG اين آزمايش در دو حالت تصور و تماشا با استفاده از الگوريتم DTW محاسبه شده است. براي مشخص شدن معنادار بودن اين مقادير به لحاظ آماري، شباهت سيگنال¬هاي تصور با تماشاي ساير تصاوير توسط همان شركت¬كننده نيز محاسبه شده و توزيع اين مقادير به دست آمده و سرانجام با توزيع نرمال برازش شده است. پس از انجام آزمون آماري ztest نشان داده شد كه اين تشابه ميان حالات تصور و تماشا به لحاظ آماري معنادار است. بنابراين رديابي حركات چشم به كمك روش EOG مي¬تواند به عنوان روشي كمكي با مزيت¬هايي از جمله هزينه¬ي كم، غير تهاجمي¬بودن روش و استفاده از سوژه¬هاي انساني در تحليل فرآيندهاي شناختي به كار گرفته شود.

Analysis of Imagination Processes Using EOG signal

In this research , the interaction between the eye and the brain in cognitive processes, including the recall of imaginative memory and decision-making, have been investigated in a laboratory method to study these processes , four experiments have be designed and implemented the eye movements were also record with the help of electrooculography(EOG) method. The experiments were performed in a dark and quiet place. fourteen people ,including eight men and six women , participated in the experiment. Audio-visual stimuli were transmitted to the participants by presenting images with the help of on-screen vidio projectors and head phones. Data recorded from participants also included EOG signals from both horizontal and channels and the sound signal of individuals during the experiment. In the experiment , a three-minute video is displayed to the participant and then the person is asked to reconstruct the images in thier mind with eyes closed and only hearing the sound of that video. Then 4 photos as displayed for 10 seconds each and after show in each one,they are conceired at the same time. to process the date , the similarity of the EOG signals of this experiment in both Imaging and watching modes was calculated with using the DTW algorithm. to determine the statistical significance of these values, the similarity of the visual signals with other images viewed by the same participant was also calculated and distribution of they values obtained and finally fitted with a normal distribution. after performing ztest statistical test , it was show that this similarity between imagining and watching moods is statistically significant. therefore ,tracking eye movements with using EOG methods can be used as an auxiliary method with advantages such as low cost , non aggressive method and the use of human subjects in the analysis of cognitive processes .
