Today, population growth in Iran's metropolitan areas and increasing population growth has led to increased demand for housing and high land prices, and consequently has led to excessive use of existing land and the construction of multi-storey buildings. Also, the existing constraints of construction and the method of segmenting high-density houses and deep plans cause blind cores in the building and the lack of direct access to direct light in many interior spaces. Therefore, the unavailability of daylight increases energy consumption and reduces the quality of indoor spaces. light well design is one of the solutions that can be suggested to transmit daylight for this problem. Therefore, the unavailability of daylight increases energy consumption and reduces the quality of indoor spaces. Using daylight is one of the most important sustainable design strategies. Daylight has played a key role in the selection and design of living spaces since the beginning of time. In addition, the effective use of daylight in buildings to minimize the effects of carbon in the built environment and the creation of indoor environments that support the comfort, function and well-being of building occupants is a fundamental consideration in design. Recent research has also shown that daylight provides a range of health and comfort benefits and is essential for building occupants. light wells can be considered as an important solution to solve this problem as a lighting system. light wells are spaces for significant transmission of daylight to areas that do not have the desired light in multi-storey residential buildings. Walls and orientation are among the factors affecting the efficiency of skylights. Simultaneous study of several variables for optimal use of light or several factors separately based on dynamic index and different weather conditions in which the effect of climate and orientation components can be seen can achieve appropriate design patterns. Therefore, multi-objective optimization has provided the importance of being able to simultaneously advance different variables and functions in the direction of quantitative and qualitative values. According to the research approach, in the first step, the first step of the research will be done by descriptive method and library study. In the second step, modeling will be done parametrically and related energy simulations will be performed. In the third step of the research, the energy and light simulators are connected to the Energy Plus, Radiance and Daysim plugins by Ladybug and Honeybee plugins, respectively. Now the simulated model and the algorithm created with special methods will be able to input and output different data. In the final step, following the optimization in the form of genetic algorithm, we will need optimization tools in this way. After analyzing the functions and variables of the design, the set of solutions obtained can be saved as output data by Excel and the results can be described and analyzed graphically. The results show that the width of the openings play a very important role in increasing the values of the functions, so that the amount of SDA and DA received the most upward effect from the width of the openings and also the height of the openings increased the amount of CDA and UDI in the same way. In previous research, the 2 * 2 dimensions of the window have a lower degree of light utility than the stepped mode, and this effect has increased the brightness of the space by 181% in the results of this research. The optimal amount of opening is 2.6 to 3 meters in length depending on the needs of the design and its location. In the stepped condition of the vertical section of the light well, the first floor has the most impact on the amount of functions and also the length of 0.75 to 0.50 meters has the highest frequency compared to other variables of the second floor. The middle floor is considered to be the most important factor affecting the functions and its maximum value of 1.00 has the highest frequency compared to other variables. In the end, the effect on the final floor is less and 0.50 meters can provide the required amount of light.
