Today, what is important in the success of new products is to consider the role and impact of it in creating value for production organizations in various dimensions in a competitive environment, a phenomenon that can be the engine of growth and development of innovation and technology ecosystem in the country. The purpose of this study is to identify and explain the indigenous components of the conceptual model of new product development in the glass industry and to provide an executive protocol for new product development in comparison with classical models of this phenomenon. The research method is heuristic mixed, applied in terms of purpose and in terms of data collection. Data were collected through basic study and semi-structured interviews in two separate stages with 18 managers and experts in the glass industry in the quality department and analyzed by coding technique and content analysis method. The level of data analysis and statistical population in the qualitative part of the glass industry and its related products has been considered and purposeful sampling and case study method have been used in this section. The results of the quality section have been the presentation of six main structures effective in the successful process of new product development at the industry level. Structures ((world-class factors of production)), ((factors of commercialization)), ((factors of survival and business growth)), ((Opportunity factors in production and market)), ((Factors of intellectual-executive capital)) and ((Environmental influencing factors)), is presented in the form of a conceptual model. In the quantitative part, structural equation modeling technique and partial least squares method have been used by PLS software with the aim of confirmatory factor analysis and determining the relationships between the elements of the conceptual model of new product development. In order to measure the reliability of the researcher-made questionnaire from Cronbach's alpha criteria and combined reliability and to measure the content validity from the relative coefficient and content validity index, for convergent validity, the extracted mean variance test and its comparison with combined reliability and for divergent validity, Fornell and Locker tests were used. The research results show that the 6 main structures of the concept model are effective on the phenomenon of new product development in the glass industry. Also, the generalizability of this model and its testing in other related industries in the country is one of the future research horizons of this research.
