Nature tourism is one of the spatial patterns of tourism formed in the postmodern era. This spatial pattern embodies the approach of tourists to travel to natural environments with different motivations. Due to the broad definition of the concept of nature, various natural features are included as an attraction and the continuous evolution of philosophy in the development of sustainable tourism. There have been numerous studies on the planning, development, policy and effects of nature-based tourism over the past decade. Regardless of location, nature-based tourism is highly dependent on the natural environment and resources. In the meantime, Bagh-e-Shater neighborhood is one of the old neighborhoods of Shemiran located in District 1, District 3 in the north of Tehran. Bagh Shater neighborhood is one of the neighborhoods that despite some problems in providing services and urban infrastructure, despite the physical deterioration of the environment due to its very good strategic location near Saadabad Palace and Darband and its very pleasant climate has the potential of natural green spaces. Based on this, the leading research intends to organize and design neighborhood spaces as well as improve the environmental quality of the neighborhood by using physical solutions. The main purpose of this study is to challenge the capacity of tourism and bio-tourism in Bagh-e-Shater neighborhood of Tehran. In this research, an attempt has been made to achieve the main goal in the form of five basic steps. In the first step; The main research framework, which includes the research introduction, problem statement, necessity, research questions, research objectives, research method and the main structure of this study is mentioned. During the second step of the research, the common theoretical foundations in the scientific community based on the principles and goals of bio-tourism development, the fields of bio-tourism development have been comparatively studied and compared and the most appropriate one has been selected. In the third step, similar experiences in the field of bio-tourism are reviewed. The structural content of this section consists of comparable steps in the study and analysis of practical examples of bio-tourism.The fourth step is to identify and assess the status of the study area, in which the introduction of the design area and its location, the historical course of Bagh-e-Shater neighborhood, studies of the natural structure of Bagh-e-Shater neighborhood, study of transportation structure and also the main physical and cultural components are studied in detail. Is located. Finally, in the fifth step of this research, an attempt has been made to answer the research questions to form a structured and content-oriented policy-making framework for expressing design results and ideas. Also, in order to bring closer the theoretical and practical ideas resulting from the reorganization plan of Bagh-e-Shater neighborhood, focusing on the scale appropriate to the present study, to provide appropriate models in Bagh-e-Shater neighborhood.Based on the studies conducted in the process of this research, the organization and design of Bagh Shater neighborhood has been done as the final product of this research. In this neighborhood, sub-neighborhood No. 1 has been selected based on the AHP process, as the area that has the greatest impact on the realization of bio-tourism. In this regard, an attempt has been made to use the existing capacities in the heart of sub-neighborhood No. 1 in Bagh-e-Shater village, while defining a local project (designing a sub-neighborhood center) and thematic projects (organizing tourism axes), to apply effective components in In the field of bio-tourism, action should be taken. The design patterns resulting from this research process can provide a good basis for strengthening the underlying forces in order to achieve a prototype project in the field of bio-tourism development.
