Transportation and transfer is one of the most important pillars of economic resources of countries in such a way that it is developed. This sector is considered as the infrastructure and foundations for the development of other economic and social sectors of countries. This sector plays the role of a link between the consumer market and production as a bridge that connects different economic sectors. In today's world, in addition to influencing the process of economic development, this sector itself is inevitably subject to change in the development process.
According to available statistics, Kermanshah province has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country and also the highest rate of emigration. Since these issues and problems are rooted in a weak and inefficient economy, so this study tries to introduce a practical solution for economic development and prosperity of Kermanshah province based on the existing transportation network. The position of Kermanshah province in the major transportation system is important due to its geographical location and its location in the east-west axis and its proximity to Iraq.
Different modes of transportation may be pursued in macro-policies with different priorities. This study also addresses which of the methods of rail, air and road transport create more capacity and less cost, and the optimal pattern of travel distribution between these three methods is better to what ratio. For this purpose, the present study examines the macro policy for the movement of wheat between Kermanshah and the capital. Because wheat is a basic commodity and Kermanshah province is one of the most important regions of the country in wheat production and the highest amount of agricultural products export from this province is related to this product.
In this study, the required information is collected first, then using the genetic algorithm described in detail in Chapter One, the most optimal method of moving wheat from the origin of Kermanshah province to Tehran province using three methods of transportation Introduced by land, rail and air.
In this method, which has been implemented in MATLAB software, by entering information about the cost of transporting wheat in all three methods and then comparing pairs between cultivars, the optimal displacement has been obtained up to a thousand times. Reducing transportation costs has led to increased economic activity, which ultimately leads to economic growth by reducing firm costs, improving the labor market, the economic benefits of transportation networks, and environmental impacts. Among the achievements and results of this research is the use of a method that is mainly used in other technical and engineering fields and this research has been able to create a bridge between regional transportation and other fields such as electrical engineering.
The algorithm used in this research has the ability to be widely generalized in the field of freight and passenger transportation, and in this research, freight is considered, which tries to introduce the most optimal and cost-effective method and model for freight to Economic prosperity can be achieved by reducing costs. Research findings show that rail transportation has the largest share in the optimal pattern of wheat movement between Kermanshah-Tehran axis. However, in the current situation, most of the wheat is transported by road. Thus, macro-regional transport policy should move towards the development and equipping of the railway system.
