Various crises cause changes in people's lifestyles and create emergencies in people's daily lives. Environments built, both on an urban scale and on a smaller scale as a container of human activity, are also evolving and constrained. The latest of these crises was the Covid-19 epidemic, which affected all aspects of human life. After a period of nearly two years, we are still dealing with this disease, and even after passing it, the possibility of such a crisis recurring is not far off. Therefore, the need to create a healthy and resistant environment to such conditions is felt more than ever today. On the other hand, looking at the research and proposals presented to deal with this crisis, we realize the importance of the role of open and semi-open spaces in increasing the resilience of buildings in the epidemic. Intermediate spaces as spaces that are created in connection between open and closed spaces can be considered as a basic solution. On the other hand, in critical situations, some uses have a more prominent role in our lives today, and disrupting their performance has a more negative impact on people's lives. One of these spaces is shopping malls. In this research, we seek to discover important features on creating healthy and epidemic-resistant spaces, which in turn improves environmental qualities. In the survey, a questionnaire was designed with 23 questions and 364 people, including 151 men and 213 women from Shiraz, were asked. The collected data were analyzed in SPSS software. After describing the percentage of each indicator, it was analyzed using Friedman test to extract users' preferences about the indicators and their prioritization. The results show that there is a significant relationship between the mentioned characteristics and users' expectations from a healthy environment. These characteristics include: 1- Aesthetics 2- Perceptual 3- Environmental 4- Functional 5- Physical 6- Security.
