The sound comfort of an environment is one of the main criteria for its desirability. According to recent studies in this field, quantitative monitoring alone cannot provide a comprehensive measure of the sound comfort of an environment. Although objective data such as sound pressure levels provide a description of the physical and even mental health of an environment, but due to the mental nature of human perception, it seems that another solution should be considered in this regard. "Soundscape" is a new approach that can achieve more tangible results in this type of eva‎luation by combining quantitative and qualitative methods of monitoring the acoustic environment. In this study, we first tried to study the auditory and non-auditory factors of El-Goli Garden in Tabriz, to what extent the quantitative data of sound measurement correspond to the results obtained from people's perception of an acoustic environment. For this purpose, acoustic maps were prepared from the place and in the next step, users' perceptual data were collected using audio marching method. Finally, quantitative and qualitative data were eva‎luated and a proposal was proposed to improve the quality of the soundscape. By analyzing the quantitative data and qualitative results obtained from the questionnaires, it seems that in assessing the sound utility of an environment, in addition to quantitative indicators such as sound pressure level, according to the mental nature of perception, there are other factors in the quality of experience. Acoustic environments are involved and these two approaches should be considered in parallel in similar studies.
