Today, the expansion of businesses, the increase in the variety of products, materials and services, the reduction of the lifespan of products, the fluctuations of supply and demand, the increase of costs and wages, rapid changes in technology, political issues, financial problems and natural disasters are some of the factors that increase Uncertainty and occurrence of risk in the supply chain of construction materials. On the other hand, large construction projects have a long supply chain and a wide communication network between its constituent elements, so the issue of supply chain risk management with the aim of identifying and evaluating risks and reducing their adverse effects in the material supply chain of this industry is of great importance. The purpose of this research is to identify and evaluate the risks in the supply chain of infrastructure projects in Mashhad in order to identify and examine critical risks and make appropriate decisions for each of the examined risks. In this research, in order to identify and analyze the risks of the material supply chain of some infrastructure projects in Mashhad, two stages of research work are carried out: in the first stage of the research, using the Coso cube structure and the thematic analytical method, to identify, examine and categorize Supply chain risks are addressed. In the second stage of the research, after obtaining the data from 2809 questions by the experts, using this data in the UCI NET software, the communication network between the risks was formed, and using the Social Network Analysis (SNA) approach, the most important risks from The impact they have on the creation and formation of other risks in the communication network between them are identified and the results are analyzed and reviewed using the IPM matrix and the necessary decisions are suggested according to this matrix. Based on the obtained results, risks such as costs and difficulties of financing, economic crisis and inflation, increase in costs compared to the budget, weakness in the way of carrying out work processes, interference of programs in common seasons, weakness in compiling systems were considered and proper working methods, strike of truck drivers and workers and breakdown of transport machines have been identified as critical risks of the supply chain that Companies should control these risks and reduce their adverse effects by investing, properly designing the material supply chain network, and proper financial planning.
