Energy consumption around the world has increased due to industrialization in recent years, so meeting the ever-increasing need for energy is of great importance. It is very important to prioritize suitable energy sources for electricity production, such as non-renewable energy sources such as coal, oil, and natural gas, as well as renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, etc. As a result, decision-making and policy-making for energy is an absolutely vital issue for countries. Various technical, economic, environmental and social criteria are used to solve energy policy and decision-making issues. Multi-criteria decision-making methods are used as an effective tool to help decision-makers in energy issues. In this research, using multi-criteria decision-making technique and network analysis method, combined cycle, gas and individual heating, hydroelectric, geothermal, solar and wind power plants are evaluated from the perspective of economic, environmental, technical and social criteria. took Finally, the results were obtained by using the SuperDecision software. The normalized importance value of combined cycle power plant is 0.315 and thus it is more important compared to other options. After that, there are individual gas and heating power plants, hydro and solar power, wind and finally geothermal power plants.
