Toddlers; Children between the ages of 1 and 3 years, are going through an important stage of their physical development. They experience a transition process from breastfeeding to including complementary feeding in their meals. At the same time with this change in the food they consume, the appearance of some behavioral characteristics in these ages; like independence, this transitional path faces challenges such as the emergence of negative nutritional behaviors in infants and also the creation of tension between them and caregivers. The need to solve these challenges according to this point Important; It can be seen that the feeding of children's meals in their toddler years has a direct effect on their adult nutritional habits and health. This research aims to make the process of eating enjoyable for toddlers, and seeks to reduce toddlers' refusal to eat the foods they need and reduce negative nutritional behaviors. This research takes place in the category of applied and descriptive studies and to advance the design process, the double diamond method was used in the research. In this study, after examining the theoretical framework, the tools Interviews, questionnaires, diary, card sorting, hyperwords, and persona were used to collect and classify the required information. The non-probability sampling method was chosen among mothers of toddlers and 22 mothers agreed to answer the questions. In the meantime, the mothers who were willing to continue cooperating in this research, expressed their readiness to participate in the next parts of the research; including diary and interviews of user tests. After extracting the design criteria from the obtained information, the idea was developed and then by presenting the 3D model of 3 selected designs to the beneficiaries of the research, the first user test was completed. The second user test was also performed in the same way after applying the findings of the previous step. In the third user test, child experts were selected by snowball method and after applying the design requirements to the new product, a prototype of the product was prepared to be presented to the users. Finally, the final product was designed by applying the findings of the fourth user test, and its prototype was made on a one-to-one scale. This product includes a booster seat; For the toddler to benefit from the interactive atmosphere of family meals, the possibility of modeling the nutritional behaviors of family members, independence in eating and creating limitations in leaving the feeding place, a long apron; In order to prevent food spillage, in response to the needs of the research beneficiaries, and a tray attached to the apron that can be placed on the dining table, a washable surface for toddlers to play with Foodstuffs. The apron of this product can be used separately for feeding on the ground. In addition to these things, this product has the possibility of playing a music containing educational themes with correct eating behaviors from the beginning of the feeding process, which helps to condition the toddler about how to start the feeding process and facilitate leaving the activity he is engaged in. In the continuation, the need of developing the apron with the aim of preventing the contact of toddler’s hands with food, can be felt.
