Nowadays, due to population growth and environmental damage, the need for multi-functional structures that can be built with minimal cost, easy to transport, set up quickly, having the ability to adapt to various uses and can be used again if needed, is essential. Various researches and designs have been done about these structures. One of the suitable methods for building these multi-functional structures are modular structures, which are highly shapable because they are made of small components and are easy to set up.
The problem of shapability is important in this field, therefore, considering this issue, in this research, an attempt was made to design a shapable structure, and since one of the methods of creating shapable structures is to use pneumatic structures, this technique is used in this research. In the stages of conducting this research, studies were first conducted on soft robots, then some examples of the applications of soft robots in architecture that were designed and built before were studied and analyzed. Based on the results obtained from these samples, several designs were proposed, and finally one of these designs, which was the closest to the desired features of the research, was selected and its details were fully designed and displayed. The resulting structure can be a combination of a number of pneumatic parts that can be changed through the controller or manually. These parts are light, easy to install and disassemble, and easy to transport.
