Covalent organic frameworks are one of the most important and dynamic members of porous organic materials, which are constructed using network chemistry and building blocks connected through covalent bonds. Due to their attractive features such as large surface area, structural diversity, effortless surface modification, and high chemical stability, covalent organic frameworks are widely used in drug delivery, catalytic, sensing, adsorption, gas storage, and many other valuable applications. Here, our discussion is on the design and synthesis of covalent organic framework nano polymers based on imide and triazine. by conducting analyzes such as infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), energy diffraction X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), X-ray diffraction pattern (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and BET favorable results showing the successful synthesis of covalent organic framework nano polymers were obtained.
Considering the favorable characteristics of the above nano polymers, they were used in the field of targeted drug delivery. Nano polymers were chosen as nano carriers to load doxorubicin drug and release it in the target tissue inside the human body.
