Today, it has been proven that the construction sector, in addition to accounting for 30-40% of energy consumption, has a significant impact on increasing the amount of carbon dioxide production and greenhouse effects. Heating, cooling and air conditioning are among the most important energy consumption items, which account for about 50% of the energy consumption of each building, but among them, the issue of air conditioning is more important than other items, and according to Low energy consumption by evaporative cooling systems, in this research, the effect of various factors on improving the performance of M-cycle indirect evaporative cooling system has been investigated numerically. In the first part, the effect of the presence of vanes on the cooling performance of the simple regenerator model has been investigated, and by using a parametric study, the optimal approximation values have been extracted. In the second part, the cooling performance of the simple regenerator model and M-cycle have been compared. In the third part, the effect of the presence of vanes in the two-channel cavity M-cycle model has been investigated, and in the fourth part, the optimal relative position of the cavities in the M-cycle model has been investigated, so that the performance of the system in three cases where the cavity are located near, far and at equal distances from the entrance of the channel, it has been evaluated. According to the results obtained in this research, while confirming the positive effect of the applied changes and innovations, the use of vanes and holes along the dry channel has improved the dew point efficiency by about 18%, and the relative position of the holes in a state that is close to are channel entrances, it has had better conditions in terms of cooling performance
