The feeling of belonging to a place is one of the components that has become one of the issues of researchers in big cities today. The importance of this issue is because the active presence of people in urban spaces, in addition to increasing security and vitality, can create lively urban environments. But on the other hand, the rapid and extensive growth of cities, along with the expansion of rental housing, has caused the attention and attention of residents to the area around their living environment to decrease. In addition to the direct impact on the relationship between the environment and humans, this issue will also be effective in the social relations between residents. The lack of identification of neighbors and the lack of face-to-face relationships between them, along with social activities at the neighborhood level, reduces the quality of life and the feeling of belonging to this area. One of the points that can be used to enter into the problem of sense of belonging is urban public spaces and as a result, selective and social activities that can be formed in the context of such spaces. Green spaces are one of the types of public spaces in cities that play different roles in different scales. The use of green spaces in areas that are in closer relationship with nature can strengthen the connection and connection with nature in these urban environments. In this research, we are looking for how to define a kind of natural identity for the area by using changes in the green spaces within the Golha neighborhood of Islamshahr, which is in relation with the natural environment, so that in addition to increasing the presence of people in it, this possibility It made people feel more responsible for the space, as a result, the users feel a sense of belonging and more responsibility in taking care of them. The current research is among the applied researches based on the purposefulness of the research in order to respond to specific fields of practical aspects. Based on the obtained results, Golha neighborhood located in Islamshahr city has been investigated and eva‎luated based on effective indicators. After analyzing and examining each of the indicators considered as the framework of the research, design solutions and suggestions have been presented with the aim of increasing the sense of belonging through increasing and improving the green spaces of the neighborhood. In this regard, through applying the vision, presenting goals and strategies and design projects, the western part of Golaha neighborhood has been designed as a green and multi-functional element. May the present research pave the way for the necessary measures to increase the sense of belonging through the improvement and creation of green spaces in the neighborhood.
