تأثير آموزش نئوليبرال بر مفهوم و عملكرد معلمان زبان انگليسي: پيشنهاد جايگزيني براي نئوليبراليسم با تبديل متوالي MMR

در پرتو مطالعات تحقيقاتي قبلي با هدف ارائه جايگزينهايي براي نئوليبراليسم، ضروري است كه اذعان كنيم كه آنها در درجه اول افزايش انتقادي آگاهي از نئوليبراليسم را پيشنهاد كردند (بوري و كانال، .)2022در نهايت، مطالعه حاضر آموزش نئوليبرال ) (NPرا به عنوان يك رويكرد جديد براي مقابله با نئوليبراليسم براي معلمان ELTبا استفاده از يك طرح تحقيق تركيبي تبديل متوالي براي كمي كردن (تحليل كمي) يافتههاي دادههاي كيفي معرفي ميكند. براي دستيابي به اين هدف، 16 معلم كارشناسي ارشد دانشگاه IUSTكه در كارگاه آموزشي نئوليبراليسم شركت كرده بودند، تا زمان اشباع داده ها مصاحبه شدند. مصاحبه ها كلمه به كلمه رونويسي شد و با استفاده از تكنيك هاي كدگذاري باز، انتخابي و محوري مورد تجزيه و تحليل و كدگذاري قرار گرفت كه منجر به شناسايي چهار موضوع براي تفسير شد (ذهنيت، رفتار، تمرين و چالش ها). پرسشنامه اي متشكل از 24گويه تهيه و اجرا شد تا تصورات، رفتار و عملكرد شركت كنندگان را قبل و بعد از اجراي كارگاه نئوليبرال بسنجد. نتايج پرسشنامه ها با استفاده از نرمافزار SPSSو با استفاده از آزمون رتبهبندي علامتدارWilcoxon، يك آزمون ناپارامتريك مشابه آزمون tزوجي، براي كميسازي ) Sandelowskiو همكاران، )2009يافتههاي پرسشنامه و مقايسه ميانگين نمرات معلمان زبان انگليسي قبل و بعد از اجراي آموزش نيواليبراليسم مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفت. پس از به كارگيري آموزش نئوليبرال، مرحله ديگري به نام مرحله غير كمي سازي براي بررسي چالش هاي معلمان و ايده هاي متقابل آنها انجام شد كه دلايل احتمالي را ارائه كرد كه در مراحل كمي و كيفي قابل تحليل نبود. در نهايت، ادغام و تفسير يافتههاي نهايي نشان داد كه آگاهي نئوليبراليسم تأثير قابل توجهي بر طرز تفكر، رفتار و آموزش عملي معلمان دارد. كليدواژه ها: نئوليبراليسم; آموزش نئوليبرال؛ جايگزيني براي نئوليبراليسم؛ طراحي روش تركيبي تبديل متوالي

The Impact of Neoliberal Pedagogy on ELT Teachers’ Conception and Practice: Proposing an Alternative to Neoliberalism with a Sequential Conversion MMR

In light of prior research studies aimed at offering alternatives to neoliberalism, it is essential to acknowledge that they primarily suggested critically enhancing awareness of neoliberalism (Bori and Canale, 2022). Ultimately, the present study introduces neoliberal pedagogy (NP) as a new approach to counter neoliberalism for ELT teachers applying a sequential conversion mixed method research design to quantitizing (quantitatively analyzing) the qualitative data findings. To achieve this goal, 16 MA teachers from IUST, who had participated in a workshop on neoliberalism, were interviewed until the data saturated. The interviews were transcribed verbatim and thematically analyzed and coded using open, selective, and axial coding techniques resulting in the identification of four themes for interpretation (mindset, behavior, practice, and challenges). A questionnaire consisting of 24 items was developed and administered to operate the participants’ conceptions, behavior, and practices before and after the implementation of the neoliberal workshop. The results were analyzed using SPSS, employing the Wilcoxon Signed-rank test, a nonparametric test similar to the paired samples t-test, to quantitize (Sandelowski, et al., 2009) the questionnaire’s findings and compare the mean scores of EFL teachers before and after the application of neoliberal pedagogy. An additional phase called the de-quantitizing phase was conducted to delve into the teachers’ challenges and their counter ideas providing the possible reasons that could not analyzed through qualitative and quantitive phases. Eventually, the integration and interpretation of the final findings revealed that neoliberal awareness had a notable impact on the mindset, behavior, and practical teaching of the teachers.
