Decision-making is the most important issue in management science. Managers' decisions, especially in high-tech industries, can be the source of important work and actions and bring many benefits or costs. Many personal and environmental factors influence managers' decisions and sometimes these factors cause bias in their decisions. This research shows that collective decision-making is one of the best ways to reach the right decision. In this thesis, it is tried to identify the factors affecting collective decision-making with the grounded theory method. Then, with the help of the content analysis method, the process of collective decision-making in Islamic sciences is identified. Also, using cognitive sciences, managers' decision-making biases are first identified. Then the effect of collective decision-making on reducing managers' decision-making biases is investigated using a t-test. In the end, by using the structural equation modeling method, collective decision-making achievements are identified in five categories such as increasing cohesion, increasing productivity, increasing individual development, increasing social capital, and increasing social justice. The findings show that collective decision-making has a great role in reducing managers' biases. Also, A) Collective decision-making increases productivity by reducing decision-making biases, increasing decision quality, and reaching the optimal decision. B) Collective decision-making increases cohesion in society through factors such as increasing alliance, reaching consensus, reducing conflicts, and increasing coordination. C) Collective decision-making creates individual development through factors such as increasing learning, increasing intelligence, increasing creativity, and increasing knowledge and inspiration. D) Collective decision-making leads to increased social capital through factors such as: reducing conflicts, reaching consensus, increasing commitment, and increasing participation. E) Collective decision-making increases social justice through factors such as reduction of discrimination, reduction of corruption, distribution of power, and reduction of conflict of interests. This thesis can be useful for various councils, including the Islamic Council, city and village councils, and high-level councils that have to make collective decisions, also it will be useful for managers and officials who are looking for a solution to reduce mistakes and increase the quality of their decisions, as well as researchers who are interested in the field of participation.
