Nowadays the Internet is being used widely. Telemedicine is a remote form of medical practice using information and communication technologies. It links one or more health professionals to each other or to a patient. The implementation of remote medical data visualization interfaces allows access to patient records containing text and image data. It has many advantages, particularly for remote health care institutions. However, there are also security and data protection risks. Sharing this data, and particularly images on the Internet, exposes them to unauthorized manipulation, despite existing security tools such as access control. Watermarking has therefore been proposed to increase the security of shared images allowing to maintain the confidentiality of patient data and to verify the medical images’ integrity.Digital image watermarking consists of concealing in visual information (a digital image), hidden information identifying its owner, or its content. However, traditional watermarking schemes have some limitations for sensitive images such as medical images. The inserted mark often alters irreversibly the image and can hide subtle details. So, many scientists are currently stusing on different approaches to find the best one for watermarking medical images which are very sensitive
