فرآيند گسترش بي رويه شهرها و صنعتي شدن، روند سريع توسعه نظام شهرنشيني، افزايش تمايل به زندگي شهري و رشد شتاب‌زده‌ي جمعيت شهري و استفاده بيش از حد از منابع منجر به تكه‌تكه شدن چشم‌انداز همراه با كاهش ارتباطات فضاي سبز و انسداد عملكرد خدمات اكوسيستم شده‌ و بر توسعه پايدار شهري تأثير مي‌گذارد. شهرنشيني به طور متفاوتي بر ساختار، عملكرد و پويايي اكوسيستم تأثير مي‌گذارد و به طور قابل توجهي ثبات اكوسيستم‌هاي شهري را تضعيف و تنوع زيستي را تهديد مي‌كند و فرآيند انتقال، حركت فضايي و جابه‌جايي گونه‌هاي بومي و مهاجر را محدود مي‌نمايد. از اين رو توجه به مباحث اكولوژيكي و زيست محيطي مهم مي‌نمايد. با توجه به اين‌كه تخريب زيستگاه‌ها و كاهش سطح خدمات اكوسيستمي ناشي از گسترش شهري منجر به افزايش خطرات اكولوژيكي در شهرها شده‌است، بدين‌ترتيب ساخت و بهينه‌سازي شبكه‌هاي اكولوژيكي شهري توجه ويژه‌اي را به خود جلب كرده و اكنون به نقطه كانوني تحقيقات اكولوژيكي شهري مبدّل گشته و علاقمندان قابل توجهي را در زمينه تحقيقات توسعه پايدار شهري در سال‌هاي اخير به دست آورده و موضوع تحقيقات علمي گسترده‌اي قرار گرفته است. اين پژوهش تلاش مي‌كند تا با شناسايي لكه‌هاي اكولوژيكي مادر در سطح شهر و ايجاد كريدور زيست‌محيطي با هدف توسعه و انتقال گونه‌ها و ايجاد پيوندهايي قوي بين گروه‌هاي اكولوژيكي گامي در راستاي بهبود و تحقق شهر پايدار ‌گذارد، بدين ترتيب ضمن ساخت شهري پايدار كه نيازهاي زيستي بشر را برآورد مي‌نمايد، از تكه‌تكه‌شدگي و كاهش اتصال چشم‌انداز نيز ممانعت به عمل آورده و از بسياري از مشكلات زيست‌محيطي از قبيل از دست دادن تنوع زيستي، جزاير گرمايي، آلودگي هوا و... پيشگيري مي‌شود.

The process of uncontrolled expansion of cities and industrialization, the rapid development of the urbanization system, the increase in the desire for urban life and the accelerated growth of the urban population and the excessive use of resources have led to the fragmentation of the landscape along with the reduction of green space communication and the blocking of the functioning of ecosystem services. It affects sustainable urban development. Urbanization affects the structure, function and dynamics of the ecosystem in different ways and significantly weakens the stability of urban ecosystems and threatens biodiversity and limits the process of transfer, spatial movement and relocation of native and migrant species. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to ecological and environmental issues. Due to the fact that the destruction of habitats and the decrease in the level of ecosystem services due to urban expansion have led to an increase in ecological risks in cities, therefore, the construction and optimization of urban ecological networks has attracted special attention and has now become the focal point of urban ecological research and interested It has achieved significant results in the field of sustainable urban development research in recent years and has been the subject of extensive scientific research. This research tries to take a step towards the improvement and realization of a sustainable city by identifying the mother ecological spots on the city level and creating an environmental corridor with the aim of developing and transferring species and creating strong links between ecological groups. estimates, the fragmentation and reduction of landscape connectivity is also prevented and many environmental problems such as loss of biodiversity, heat islands, air pollution, etc. are prevented.
