Modularization is a design approach that divides a system into smaller parts (modules). Modules can be made independently and used in different systems. Among the benefits of modularization in hospitals is the use of construction in a controlled factory environment, the elimination of weather effects, the simultaneous implementation of on-site building construction along with multiple stages of a building, and the development plan of several buildings. The aim of the research is to identify and eva‎luate the best modular option for the surgery department. Therefore, in this research, the types of modularization were investigated and then the PPVC steel module system was proposed to reduce the weight of the module without compromising the strength and hardness. By using the comparative and inferential descriptive method and library study tools, the types of modularization and different models of the surgical department have been examined and then the option of PPVC steel module system has been eva‎luated using comparative analogy. The benefits of this method have been eva‎luated for hospital use. The results show that considering this system for the hospital has benefits such as the safety and security of patients, clients, hospital personnel, reducing the weight of the module, reducing the number of connections and columns, maintaining stability and placing the modules on top of each other in structurally higher floors. It has natural disasters such as earthquakes and wind. Modular construction has shown great potential in improving construction productivity and efficiency. By using this modular construction system, it is possible to plan the development of hospitals and healthcare centers in the shortest possible time. This approach in the construction of hospitals can facilitate the construction process of the required hospitals in the country according to the environmental and geographical conditions.
